Its mission is to live and promote the National Diocesan Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry by:

• Ministering, uniting, placing our gifts, talents and time in the service of our neighbor, so as to become a model of church;
• Seeking to be evangelized and to evangelize others;
• Keeping communication between the consultative groups and those in authority,
• continuing a systemic process which will facilitate ample participation of Hispanics;
• Further develop mutual interest in a dialogue which will tear down barriers for a shared vision of what it means to be "church".

". . . live and promote a model of church that is communitarian, evangelizing, and missionary; incarnate in the reality of the Hispanic people and open to the diversity of cultures; promoter and example of justice; active in developing leadership through integral leaven for the kingdom of God in society" (National Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry).

Bilingual and Spanish speaking volunteers are needed in all areas of ministry.
