| | Its mission is to live and promote the National Diocesan Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry by: - Ministering, uniting, placing our gifts, talents and time in the service of our neighbor, so as to become a model of church;
- Seeking to be evangelized and to evangelize others;
- Keeping communication between the consultative groups and those in authority,
- continuing a systemic process which will facilitate ample participation of Hispanics;
- Further develop mutual interest in a dialogue which will tear down barriers for a shared vision of what it means to be "church".
". . . live and promote a model of church that is communitarian, evangelizing, and missionary; incarnate in the reality of the Hispanic people and open to the diversity of cultures; promoter and example of justice; active in developing leadership through integral leaven for the kingdom of God in society" (National Pastoral Plan for Hispanic Ministry).
