I know that many of you have had my son and my family in your prayers since he disappeared April 13 of this year. Sadly, he has not been found and the authorities have followed up on all leads and tips.
We know that he is in God's hands whatever has happened and want to flood heaven with our hope to find him. God always listens, but especially when two or more are gathered together in His name. There will be a non-denominational prayer vigil Tuesday, August 18 at 7 pm at my church, St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Granbury. Any and all of your friends, family and neighbors are welcome. It's not a mass, but a prayer vigil seeking to bring Shane home and peace to our family. Any of you whose Sunday School class or other group is praying would be more than welcome and is especially encouraged to add to the service by having one of your group share whatever specific prayers you've been saying or just add your thoughts, poems or whatever of your own. This is not scripted: anything you have to add is valuable to me and my family, but it would be helpful if you let me know if you plan to do so in order that we can plan our time so it won't run too long. We do not plan to run longer than an hour.
